Saskatoon will host a major youth Canadian championship later this summer…and are looking for volunteers to help put it on.
The Ray Carter Cup, for 15-and-under AAA teams across the country, will be held August 23-28 at the Nutana-Kiwanis Park. The baseball complex recently underwent a multi-million-dollar upgrade and features artificial turf, lighting and batting cages. Saskatoon’s reputation as a national sporting powerhouse will once again be in the spotlight as the best
15U AAA baseball teams in the country will battle for the 2022 Ray Carter Cup.
The championship will be held August 23-28 at Nutana Kiwanis Park. The baseball complex recently
underwent a multimillion-dollar upgrade and features artificial turf, lighting, batting cages and hitting
turtles.
Tournament Chair Scott Thomas says “Saskatoon is excited to host this national event. We have a great
facility for the players and fans. It is sure to be a great championship!”
