It’s an exciting time for summer in Saskatoon as the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz festival is back , and at full capacity. The event’s 35th anniversary welcomes more than 50 performers from around Canada, the United States, and a group from Norway.
This years Executive Director Shannon Josdal describes the Jazz Festival as huge and expansive. She says there is something for everybody – and suggests it a great event for both hearing some of your favourite artists and music, but also being exposed to new things. Josdal notes that some basic necessities for the outdoor concerts would be to have a lawn chair, sunscreen, bugs spray, water and a good hat to take on the summer elements. She adds that there is no mask restriction in place except at the Broadway Theatre and Convocation Hall at U of S.
The Jazz Festival begins today (Thurs) and runs through July 7th. To get your tickets head over to Saskjazz.com or you can get them at the Broadway Theatre box office during the week from noon to 6pm.
