Employees at a shop on Valley Road used water to extinguish a recreation vehicle and pallets that were on fire near their building around 7:15 Saturday night.

The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to the scene and began pulling exterior siding off to extinguish the blaze as the fire had extended to the outside of the shop.

Utilities were shut off for safety reasons.

At 8:03, the fire was fully extinguished. Fire crews then turned the scene over the RCMP.

If a fire investigation is undertaken, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency will perform the task according to a news release from the Saskatoon Fire Department.
