With summer being a busy time in Saskatchewan, CAA is sharing summer safety tips for families on summer holidays.
CAA’s Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations suggests keeping a sharp eye out when children are at the swimming pool or spending time around barbeques and firepits.
As well, Christine Niemczyk says it’s important to teach children pedestrian safety and how to behave around busy roadways which includes reminding them to never run out in traffic or from between, parked cars, buses or buildings.
Niemczyk explains the resources that CAA has put together to assist families when planning a trip this summer.
“We put together some really good ideas for families to sit down and say “Okay, we’re going camping, what can we learn?”. And we got some things such as twelve camping activities to do with your family, we got some tips to keep in mind with camping with dogs and some camping hacks.”
