The Saskatchewan Rattlers play their final home game of the 2022 Canadian Elite Basketball League regular-season on Thursday when they host Guelph in a big match-up.
Both the Snakes and Nighthawks have 8-8 records, tied for sixth place in the 10-team C-E-B-L. Saskatchewan has reached back into their infancy as a franchise, bringing back Maryland product and veteran guard Bruce Massey. The 6’2″ Massey has nine years of pro hoops experienced, having suited up in the N-B-A G League, international leagues and as a member of the original 2019 Rattlers, who won the inaugural C-E-B-L title in 2019. Saskatoon, Sask. – The Saskatchewan Rattlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday that they have welcomed back Maryland-nativeguard Bruce Massey for the remainder of the 2022 CEBL season. Massey has nine years of professional experience – playing in the NBA G League, international leagues, and played with the Saskatchewan Rattlers in 2019. The 2019 CEBL MVP front runner returns to the Rattlers in their pursuit to finish the season off strong.
Massey will be introduced to the line-up on Thursday at 7:30PM CST against Guelph Nighthawks playing out of SaskTel Centre.
