An increased police presence at a residence in Bell’s Point has turned into a suspicious death investigation.

La Ronge R-C-M-P responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Jack Bell Place in Bell’s Point at about 3:15 Thursday morning. They located a 24-year-old injured male, who died shortly thereafter when he was transported to hospital. The victim has been identified and his family has been notified. Saskatchewan R-C-M-P’s Major Crime Unit is investigating and is looking for anyone with information about this incident to contact La Ronge R-C-M-P or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers. The R-C-M-P are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.
