A new CEO has been names for Women Entrepreneurs Saskatchewan (WESK). Effective August 9th, Miriam Johnson will take over the roll. A news release from WESK says Johnson will build on the success of Prahba Ramaswamy, who served in the position for over seven years before joining the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.
Johnson says, WESK is, at its very core, about creating an environment where anyone can pursue their dreams.” She believes the organization has been pivotal in helping many women achieve those dreams. During her recent tenure as Marketing and Community Relations with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Johnson was fundamental in securing the bid for the upcoming Grey Cup, launching the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, and developing many successful programs addressing opportunities around the fan experience.
