The option of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 at Prairieland Park, either by appointment or on a walk-in basis, comes to an end Wednesday at 4 p.m.
That’s because the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s lease agreement for Hall B at Prairieland Park is coming to an end. However, the S-H-A notes there are several options available to Saskatoon and area residents to receive COVID-19 vaccines. Walk-in and pop-up vaccination clinics are offered at various Saskatoon locations with updated lists available on the S-H-A website. Booked appointments can be made, effective Friday, by using the Online Patient Booking system. Participating pharmacies are still taking vaccination appointments, when supplies are available, but cannot provide vaccinations to children younger than five years of age. Parents and guardians of all children aged six months to five years old can phone 1-833-Sask-VAX (1-833-727-5829) to book an appointment. Plus, to book an appointment for Johnson and Johnson or Novavax vaccines in Saskatoon, call the Specialty Immunization Travel Health Centre at 306-655-4780.
