The drivers of both vehicles involved in a collision on Highway 11 south of MacDowall Tuesday night are dead while two other people are in hospital.
A 16-year-old female was the driver and lone occupant of a northbound pick-up truck and was pronounced dead at the scene while a 46-year-old male, who was the driver of a southbound pick-up truck, was also pronounced deceased at the scene. A 22-year-old male passenger was transported to hospital with what were described as serious injuries while a three-year-old boy was transported to hospital by STARS with what were described as serious injuries. There is no word on their condition. The collision happened at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday with Highway 11 closed during the initial investigation. It has since been re-opened. Prince Albert R-C-M-P continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Collision Reconstructionist.
