It’s Tony Carr of the Saskatchewan Rattlers against Khalil Ahmad of the Niagara River Lions for Player-of-the-Year in the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
The loop announced the finalists for five of eight awards today. Carr led the C-E-B-L with 6.2 assists per game and was sixth in points per game with 19.8 while the forward helped propel the Snakes into the quarter-finals on Sunday in Scarborough. Besides the five award finalists, the Coach and Official of the Year, as well as the C-E-B-L Clutch Player of the Year award will also be announced on August 10 as part of the league’s Final Four weekend.
