A Saskatoon man has been sentenced to 12 months in provincial custody and a two year driving prohibition in connection to a 2020 ATV accident that resulted in the death of a 51 year old man.
Two years ago on July 4th, Wakaw RCMP were called to a rollover of a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle on a rural property. Three people were riding in the vehicle when the driver lost control and it rolled. No one was wearing a helmet.
A 57 year old woman was not hurt and neither was the driver, a 48 year old man.
Patrick Strong was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and refusing to provide a breath sample. He was sentenced on the refusal charge.
