One month after being selected seventh-overall at the 2022 N-H-L Draft, defenceman and Saskatoon product Kevin Korchinski has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Chicago.

Korchinski was the first W-H-L player selected in the 2022 N-H-L Draft and the first of six W-H-L players chosen in the first round. The 18-year-old played with Seattle last season.
