Wrestlers boosted Saskatchewan’s medal total by seven on Thursday at the Canada Summer Games.
Ten wrestlers started the day in semi-finals with five earning silver medals and two more winning bronze medal matches. The seven wrestling medals improved Saskatchewan’s total at the 2022 Games in Ontario’s Niagara region to eight. Following is a news release from Team Sask…..

St Catharine’s, ON (August 11, 2022): Team Sask’s wrestling team was ready to rumble at Canada
Games Park today earning seven (7) medals. Athletes from across the province celebrated with their
teammates, parents, and friends from Saskatchewan to cheer hard and loud, while showing their
support.
The following athletes performed extremely well and poured their hearts out on the mat to win a
medal:
