American offensive lineman Na’Ty Rodgers and American wide receiver Jakob Prall were let go prior to Tuesday’s practice.
Rodgers played in all nine regular season games while Prall caught nine passes for 99 yards.
There is some positive news as linebacker Pete Robertson and defensive lineman Garrett Marino are expected to return to action on Friday. Robertson has been out with a foot sprain since July 8th, while Marino has finished a four game suspension for an illegal hit against Ottawa quarterback Jeremiah Massoli. Meantime, wide receiver Kyran Moore has been cleared to start practice as he recovers from an ACL injury.
The Riders will host the first-place BC Lions on Friday night.
