The first games of the S-J-H-L pre-season were being played Monday, including a matinee contests as the La Ronge Ice Wolves played host to the Kindersley Klippers at Saskatoon’s Rod Hamm Memorial Arena.

The game caps the Ice Wolves’ training camp, which was held Friday through Sunday at the Rod Hamm Arena. Former Saskatoon Blades and N-H-L forward Kevin Kaminski is the Ice Wolves’ general manager and head coach. He had 80 players attend camp and will have 36 players head north for physical testing and medicals on Tuesday in La Ronge before practices and games continue.
