A Saskatoon man faces multiple charges with regards to child pornography offences following a joint execution of a search warrant by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit and the Saskatoon Police Service on June 2.
Earlier Tuesday, 29-year-old Michael Sutton turned himself into police after the search revealed where the offences occurred and forensic examination of several electronic devices seized showed the distribution and possession of child pornography using a popular social media platform. Sutton appeared in Provincial Court Tuesday afternoon to face one count of making available child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography.
