The weekly report from Battleford RCMP includes 519 calls for service and one of those began as an assault investigation but became something more. Officers responded around 9:45 last night after being told a man was fighting with a shirtless teen. After speaking to the teen and several witnesses, police were told the man had interrupted the the shirtless teen assaulting another youth. It was then learned the 20 year old suspect had exposes himself to people prior to the assault. The weekly reports says when the man was arrested he became violent and bit one of the arresting officers in the hand, although the officer was wearing safety gloves and wasn’t injured. Dawson Gamble’s charges include uttering threats, committing an indecent act, assault, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
