It seems there always has to be a bump in the road for the Saskatchewan Roughriders!
Coming off last Friday’s crucial victory in B-C and going into the annual Labour Day Weekend Classic clash with visiting Winnipeg, the Green and White released a statement Wednesday morning saying head coach Craig Dickenson has tested positive for COVID-19. As per C-F-L policy, Dickenson is currently quarantining, but is expected to re-join the team on Saturday, in time for Sunday’s contest with the 10-1 Blue Bombers. The 50-year-old Dickenson has led the Roughriders to a 6-5 record this season and holds a 28-15 overall mark in three seasons as Saskatchewan’s sideline boss with two West Final appearances.
