The rural municipalities of Corman Park and Rosthern have implemented fire bans.

Due to very dry conditions, the bylaws state that any open flame fires within the two RM’s. That includes fire pits, burning barrels, controlled burns and fireworks. The only exceptions are propane barbecues and propane fire pits.

Most RM’s in the Saskatoon region already have fire bans in place.
