A Saskatoon mother accused of faking her own death, abducting her son and fleeing to Oregon has been granted bail.
Several media outlets, including CJWW News are not identifying her name due to a publication ban.
Other than the outcome of Friday’s bail hearing, no other details can be shared under the publication ban.
In late July, the accused woman disappeared with her son. Then nearly two weeks later, the duo were found in a suburb outside of Portland.
The accused also faces charges in the United States for illegally crossing into that country.
Other court conditions for the 48-year-old woman include paying $10,000 dollars, a curfew and electronic monitoring.
She will also have to give up her passport to police. The accused will appear in court again later this month.
