The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested a 17 year old male in connection to the firearms incident on Rusholme Road Tuesday.
Around 9:45 a.m. yesterday morning, the Saskatoon Police Service School Resource Unit and patrol officers were notified of a male who had threatened to bring a firearm to the 22-hundred block of Rusholme Road also the location of Mount Royal Collegiate.
The suspect had left the area when officers arrived. A perimeter was established and the Canine Unit was brought in. A suspect was tracked to the 200 block of Avenue J South around 2:30 p.m.
A 17 year old male is charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death, Mischief Over $5000, and Breach of Conditions.
