The submerged truck in the Beaver River off Highway 903 from back on August 24 that resulted in a deceased female has a criminal side to it, with a male fugitive.
R-C-M-P have issued a warrant for Brian Janvier’s (pictured) arrest. He is described as being about 6’1″ and weighing 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes plus a tattoo on his cheek and a missing front tooth. He has connections to the Dillon and Cold Lake, Alberta, areas but his current whereabouts are not known. The R-C-M-P is asking for public help with locating Janvier. He faces nine seperate, single-count charges after officers located and seized a loaded handgun from the truck after it was removed from the Beaver River. A 20-year-old female from the Dillon area was found deceased inside as well.
Back on August 24, at about 6 p.m., Meadow Lake R-C-M-P responded to the report of a submerged vehicle in the Beaver River off Highway 903. When they arrived at the scene, they found an adult male standing on top of the submerged vehicle and sent him to hospital with injuries.
If anyone sees Bryan Janvier, do not approach him. You are asked to submit sightings or information as to his whereabouts to your local police service or to Crime Stoppers.
