Three Manitobans are among four people arrested following an armed break-and-enter at a residence in Yorkton on Sunday morning.
Thirty-nine-year-old Lewis Starr, 28-year-old Austin Houle and 38-year-old Kimberley Nasee – all of Sandy Bay, Manitoba – plus 19-year-old Theashaye Richard were arrested at a residence on Myrtle Avenue in Yorkton after Yorkton R-C-M-P received a report of a break-and-enter in progress at about 8:15 a.m. on September 25th. An investigation determined that the four individuals forced their way into the residence where they were apprehended. Search warrants executed at the residence later that day had officers locate and seize an illegally-modified firearm, a semi-automatic firearm with a silencer, a high-capacity magazine and a small amount of white powder that has yet to be identified. The investigation continues. Houle will face five counts over four separate charges when he appears in Yorkton Provincial Court on Wednesday. Starr faces 11 counts over four separate charges on Thursday while Richard and Nasee will appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on October 31st, Richard to face two charges and Nasee a single charge for break-and-enter.
