The Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan has launched a public awareness campaign to help address the harmful effects of medication misuse.

It is encouraging everyone to return all unused and expired medication to a local pharmacy, The Saskatchewan government is providing $350,000 for radio, television and newspaper ads, as well as billboards.

A portion of the funding will also go to pharmacists to help pay for the collections.  Program details can be viewed here.
