As of today, the province’s minimum wage is now $13 an hour.

The increase was announced in May of this year. At the same time, it was announced the minimum would increase to $14 on October 1, 2023, and $15 on October 1, 2024.

The government says the minimum wage has increased 63.5 per cent though a total of 14 increases since 2007, when it was $7.95.
