Saskatoon Police say there will be no impediment to traffic this morning; their officers have cleared the scene of a Sunday evening accident.

Saskatoon Police were called out just after 7 p.m. to an accident at 22nd Street and Avenue X South involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

The collision occurred in the eastbound lanes. A male pedestrian was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services.

There is no word on his condition and police say an update will be released later today.
