Prince Albert and Red Deer were busy on the day before the 22 W-H-L teams must declare their trio of 20-year-old players each.
The Raiders acquired 17-year-old right winger Tanner Gould from Tri-Cities for a seventh round pick in the 2026 Prospects Draft. Before that, P-A sent 19-year-old defenceman Tayem Gislason and a conditional fifth round choice in 2024 to Red Deer for 18-year-old forward Carter Anderson. That was one of three deals for the Rebels Tuesday. The others saw 20-year-old defenceman Tanner Brown go from Red Deer to Regina for a fifth round selection in 2023 and a fourth rounder in 2024 while 18-year-old forward Dwayne Jean Junior becomes a Rebel with a fourth round pick in the 2024 Prospects Draft going to Tri-Cities. One other deal that went down late Tuesday afternoon, involving East Division teams, saw Moose Jaw pick up 20-year-old forward Riley Ginnell from Brandon for a fifth round selection in the 2024 Prospects Draft.
