Prince Albert RCMP are asking the public to report any suspicious activity in the wake of two separate vehicle thefts and an attempted vehicle theft on Saturday.

Around 1:30 p.m. there was a report of an attempted theft on Little Red River First Nation when two males, wearing bandanas across their faces, armed with a gun and bear mace tried to carjack a vehicle but the driver managed to drive away and wasn’t harmed.

Around 3:00 p.m. there was a report of a vehicle theft on Sturgeon Lake First Nation that RCMP believe took place a few hours earlier. An older model white Ford F150 was stolen with Saskatchewan license plate 113 MUL. RCMP don’t yet know if the vehicle was occupied at the time it was stolen.

And around 4:00 p.m. Saturday there was a report of a theft of a vehicle in the Christopher Lake area. Three males, reportedly wearing bandanas across their faces and armed with a gun, carjacked an occupied 2015 black Dodge Ram truck. This had Saskatchewan license plate 012 IZK. The driver wasn’t harmed but the suspects drove away in his truck and the stolen black truck reportedly drove away along with a white truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police. And RCMP are advising the public to use caution if you live or are driving in the area, especially if you are approached by someone in vehicles matching the descriptions above.
