Vendasta has thrown the doors open to 150 students in Grades 6-to-8 to host their first ever Tech Camp.
The students from St. St. Mary’s, Westmount, Sylvia Fedoruk, Holy Family and St. Bernard Schools are spending the balance of the day at Vendasta’s downtown offices.
Vendasta says the students are running through five different tech modules where they will learn computer programming, build and race bristlebots and other similar activities.
Vendasta describes some of their reactions as having “eyes wide as saucers” because for many of the students, it’s the first time they’ve ever been in an office building, particularly a tech company.
