The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service is looking for the public’s help to identify the person whose body was found in Wascana Lake on Thursday afternoon. Police were alerted just before 3:30 that day that a person’s body had been discovered in the lake near Willow Island.

Investigators and the coroner are working to determine the nature of his death, and despite all efforts, his identity and where he entered the water remain undetermined. He is descried as a 60 to 70 year old man, about 5’3″ tall, medium build, wearing a grey long-sleeved a quarter-zip shirt, black Columbia fleece jacket and North Face rain jacket, black pants, green, blue and white Asics running shoes and grey crew socks.
