The Regina Police Service reports that the body found in Wascana Lake on October 20th has been identified. Investigators have also determined this is not a criminal case. Around 3:20 in the afternoon on Thursday the 20th, police were dispatched to Wascana Lake where a person’s body had been discovered in the water Near Willow Island. At that time, the identity of the man wasn’t known. He was a Regina resident, and his family has been notified. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death will continue.
