Fifty-one year old Owen Hansen has been sentenced on charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography.
The Saskatoon man was arrrested at his home January 27th this year in relation to an investigation involving possession of child pornography through a popular online social media application. At that time the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit seized electronic devices for further forensic analysis.
He was sentenced this week to 14 months in jail, two-year probation, he has to submit DNA and he will be on the Sex Offender Registry for life.
