Due to the snowfall in some parts of Saskatchewan, Canada Post has issued a red delivery service alert for Northwest Saskatchewan and a yellow delivery service alert for Northeast Saskatchewan.
A red service alert means that they are suspending delivery for the day and not sending delivery agents out or recalling them. A yellow service alert means Canada Post will do its best to deliver, but there may be delays. Delivery will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so.
Canada Post also encourages its customers to clear ice and snow from walkways, stairs and driveways to ensure safe access.
