Saskatoon Police officers responded to a call at a business in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South around 2:40 a.m. on Saturday.

A 23-year old woman had life threatening injuries and despite efforts from paramedics, she died.

Police arrested a 22-year old woman on the scene and have charged her with second degree murder. The two individuals were known to each other.

The Serious Assault Unit and the Major Crime Section are investigating.
