Over the course of 48 hours, supporters of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital donated $760,185 for surgical equipment and lifesaving therapies through a radiothon held province-wide, including CJWW.
President and CEO of the JPCH Foundation, Brynn Boback-Lane, thanks everyone who donated and says it will be used to purchase equipment for innovative surgeries, increase capacity of care for scoliosis patients, and provide lifesaving therapies for acute kidney patients.
Boback-Lane says over 22,000 children visit the pediatric ER each year and over 66,000 babies and kids visit the Children’s Hospital every year. “Thank you, Saskatchewan, for your generosity, for your life-changing generous gifts of hope, because they certainly are going to make a positive impact on the healthcare of children and families across this province.”
The Foundation extends its gratitude to matching sponsors Gord and Barb Broda of Prince Albert and presenting sponsor CIBC Wood Gundy.
