The Saskatchewan Huskies are conference champions for the 21st time in program history, after a 23-8 victory over the UBC Thunderbirds in the Hardy Cup Saturday afternoon at Griffiths Stadium. It’s the second consecutive Hardy Cup for the Huskies and means they play in the national semifinal in Nova Scotia against the St. Francis Xavier X-Men. Head coach Scott Flory, says he is proud of the guys. “This is a tough conference. There’s a lot of good football teams.”
