The Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crime Section say they arrested a 25-year-old man Tuesday in connection to the suspicious death from Tuesday night in the back lane behind 124 Avenue P South.

The arrested suspect has been charged with second degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Nykera Brown. The two were known to each other. Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Avenue P South around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday and found Brown’s body. Police also questioned a woman in connection to the incident, but she has not been arrested and charged. The Major Crime Section continues to investigate, but are not looking for any additional suspects.
