A 16 year old boy from Cote First Nation died in the early morning hours on Saturday and Kamsack RCMP along with the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit are looking for 19 year old Edgar Kakakaway Jr from Keeseekoose First Nation in connection to this homicide investigation.

He is described as being around 6 feet tall and 210 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Keeseekoose First Nation, Cote First Nation, Kamsack, Canora and Yorkton areas. Police say he is considered dangerous so don’t approach him, and instead call 911 or local police immediately.

Edgar Kakakaway Jr is charged with second degree murder, assault causing bodily harm, and failing to comply with a condition of a release order.
