The Saskatoon Blades reduced their roster by one defenceman to seven D and 23 players total on Wednesday when the Bridge City Bunch dealt 19-year-old blueliner Marek Schneider to Red Deer.
The Blue and Gold receive a fourth round pick in the 2023 W-H-L Prospects Draft and a conditional fourth round selection in the 2026 Draft, likely invoked if the Prince Albert product plays for the Rebels as a 20-year-old. Schneider had a goal among two points in 14 games this season and played 78 games with Saskatoon spread over four seasons. Following is the official news release from the Blades…..
