The Saskatoon Police Service says members of its Serious Assault Unit have made an arrest in connection to an incident from this past summer at the Saskatoon EX.

On August 13th a man deployed bear spray into a crowd at the Exhibition Grandstand.

A 26 year old man is facing 13 charges of assault with a weapon.

Police were called to the grandstand around 9 p.m., where they reported finding as many as 50 people suffering the effects of the spray which was deployed during a concert.

The Saskatoon Police Service thanks the public for their help in the investigation after asking anyone with video evidence to contact police.
