There were traffic restrictions at Wedge Road and Bowman Crescent on Tuesday night, and now the Saskatoon Police Service is reporting that two people have been arrested and charged as part of a Crime Reduction Team investigation.
Just after 6 Tuesday night, a man and woman were arrested in the 100 block of Betts Avenue, then in the early morning hours on Wednesday, the Saskatoon Police Service Tactical Support Unit helped the CRT in securing and searching a home in the 400 block of Bowman Crescent. Police say a collapsible baton, brass knuckles, a knife, three gun barrels and a satchel with a small amount of meth were seized.
A 32-year-old man is facing ten charges including possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a concealed weapon and breach of conditions. A 35-year-old woman is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a controlled substance and breach of conditions.
