Update:

The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section is investigating the 10th homicide of 2022.

Police say officers were stopped around 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the area of 21st Street West and Avenue W South by persons travelling in a minivan to report an injured man inside.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services West with a gunshot wound where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are looking for three persons of interest.  Thirty-one-year-old Reagan Opoonechaw, 24-year-old Kasseigh Opoonechaw and Zennon Thomas.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Reagan or Kasseigh Opoonechaw or Zennon Thomas, or with information otherwise believed to be relevant to the investigation is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
