A truck that was stolen in Saskatoon was reported as being suspicious-looking in the County of Vermillion River, Alberta, on November 16 – resulting in a man being arrested on multiple charges.

Twenty-nine-year-old Travis Shutiak of no fixed address was apprehended by Kitscoty R-C-M-P while still inside the truck. The investigating officers found the truck had been stolen from Saskatoon and that the suspect also had a stolen I-D, stolen credit card and was in possession of break-in tools. He is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of break-in tools and misuse of credit card. Shutiak was released from custody and is to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on January 17, 2023.
