SaskPower held a two hour virtual open house today and another one is scheduled for tonight (Wed), with many half hour sessions you can choose from about the Small Modular Reactor planning project. Some of the topics are managing nuclear waste, factors to consider when deciding where to put an SMR, and planning for power beyond 2030. SaskPower says during the factors to consider for deciding where to put an SMR session includes why Elbow and Estevan are being studied and what comes next. Tonight’s free online session is from 7 to 9 pm.
