Between November 20th and December 3rd, there have been 41 deaths related to COVID-19 in Saskatchewan. One person was in the 20 to 59 age group and the rest were in the 60 and older group. That’s according to the provincial government’s bi-weekly update. There were no deaths indicated in the report from either the flu or RSV.

For this latest reporting period, COVID-19 and flu case counts are down while RSV has increased. However, flu counts remain high, with 547 lab-confirmed cases as opposed to 699 in the last report. COVID-19 also remains high, but has decreased from 453 to 396 cases in that time period. The majority of people in the hospital with these illnesses are in with COVID, followed by RSV. The report says there are fewer RSV hospitalizations but they nearly doubled in the last reporting week, rising from 22 cases in the last report, to 67 in the last two week period.
