A 37-year-old Prince Albert man has been arrested and made his first court appearance in connection to an assault complaint from a week ago.

Quentin George Gardiner was arrested Thursday for attempted murder, aggravated assault and breach of court order following the assault complaint which occurred in the early morning hours of December 2. The Prince Albert Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Unit continued to investigate, executing a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of 5th Avenue East. Gardiner was arrested and made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court Friday morning. The investigators don’t anticipate further arrests from this incident.
