Maidstone R-C-M-P say Highway 17 is blocked for investigation as they respond to a serious collision about 20 kilometres north of Lloydminster on Highway 17.

A news release was sent out just before 2 o’clock Friday and added that the investigation is expected to take several hours to complete, meaning motorists should expect delays and are asked to slow down if traveling in the area. The Highway Hotline can be accessed to check for the status of the highway closure as the day continues.
