Police have arrested and charged a woman following a report of sexual assault involving a minor. At around 11:45 p.m. on December 8, police responded to the 300 block of Avenue U South for a report of a sexual assault in progress. Upon arrival, police learned that a 20-year-old woman had allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy prior to leaving the scene. She was located by police and arrested a short distance away from the location of the alleged assault. The woman and the boy are believed to be known to one another. The woman is charged with sexual interference and sexual assault; she was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
