Three people were arrested outside Saskatoon, but have yet been charged in an early Friday morning armed robbery in Saskatoon.

At about 1 a.m. on December 9, Saskatoon Police Service officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 500 block of Avenue X South. Upon arrival, a 27-year-old male victim told police that three unknown persons had robbed him at gunpoint of his belongings and vehicle. Several hours later, Saskatchewan R-C-M-P informed the S-P-S that they had recovered the stolen truck that was stuck in snow near Warman and that they arrested the three people inside without incident. The trio consists of males aged 20 and 18 and a 16-year-old female. The investigation into the armed robbery is continuing and charges have not yet been laid.
