After a two year hiatus from the pandemic, the White Buffalo Youth Lodge and Saskatoon Tribal Council are hosting an annual dinner today (Thurs) which organizers anticipate will serve about 2,000 people. Tribal Chief Mark Arcand hopes this festive supper will make the holiday season a little brighter for those in need. He says, “We are all working together to do the best we can to ensure our relatives have a good quality of life. We are very grateful for all those that sponsored the night and we acknowledge the volunteers because without them this would not be possible.”
Santa will be a special guest at the dinner which runs from 4 to 8 p.m. at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge on 20th Street West. Organizers wish to thank all the volunteers as well as the local companies for their corporate support including:
Nutrien, SIGA, DDCDC, PCL Construction, Park Deroche, Azz Galvanizing, Varsteel, Bolt Supply House, Saskatchewan Roughriders Foundation, Saskatoon Real Estate Services, Bee Clean, Prairie Crane and STC Industrial.
